Madrid

We flew to Madrid via Easyjet as well. Pkl 5 pagi dah amik bus towards Fiumicino Airport. Our flight was at 8am. After 2 hours on the flight we reached Barajas Airport at 10:30am Madrid local time. Kat sini kita org tak payah ssh payah amik taxi or bus or train nak ke hotel coz our hotel just nearby the airport. I had to call the hotel for the shuttle service dia tak standby sesiap. Melayang €30 beli kad tepon kat situ sbb syiling tak leh guna. DAMN kan... Tak sampai 10 minit shuttle van sampai bring us to Best Western Villa Hotel de Barajas. Hotel ni even jauh from the town tapi sangat convenience ada Burger King ada pharmacies, ada kebab (jalan jauh sikit) and near to the train station....

Lepas checked in bla bla bla we all took a train to Gran Via. The train station which Barajas station is just 5 minutes walking from the hotel. Tambang dia €3.40 per person to Plaza De Espana Station per way. Tgk2 kat Plaza De Espana tu counter bus dia tutup. Alamak!!! Kita org went further up dah sampai area Gran Via. Gran Via ni best macam2 ada restaurant, boutique, cinema etc. Cari2 tak nampak pun bus hop on hop off tu. Lepak jap kat Starbucks had a cuppa coffee. Masa order tu tya la si mamat barista ni kat mana blh beli ticket bus city tour. Errrrrr mamat ni cakap no English speaking plak..... Tapi sangat friendly his initiative was drew a map and used sign language to tell me where to get the ticket. Wah baiknya. Bila ada sorang colleague dia datang dia srh colleague dia explain balik even the English tunggang terbalik but really appreciated it guys. Within 100 meters we found the stall mentioned by the baristas yang jual ticket ni. Kita org beli ticket hop on hop off ni. €25 per person for 48 hours. Bus stop dia pun sebelah ja ngan stall tu.

Starbucks at Gran Via 54 

Not even 5 minutes dah nampak bus. Terus naik. Kat Madrid we had a lot of time so kalau nak cita satu2 mmg tak habis sampai esok. Baik google seniri tgk attractions places in Madrid.

Our first stop was Temple of Debod. Nak tau apa dia sila klik and baca. From here u can get the panoramas of Madrid. Super duper biudiful. There was a playground here. We spent 30 minutes there just to let my lil princess having her great vacation in Madrid.

Next sampai jugak Mummy di Plaza Mayor. Kat sini la pengambaran filem Vantage Point dibuat.

We browsed through the cafes along Plaza Mayor ni sampai la Puerta de Sol yang ada Bear with the Berry Tree Statue tu. Kat sini sila standby syiling byk2 kalau bawak anak kecik. Ada byk cartoon characters kat sini. Cara mintak sedekah yang sangat berhemah. Sbb they will attract your kids, gave ballons bla bla bla. So kalau dah amik pic ngan diaorg bagi la duit. Ikhlas ye tuan2 dan puan2. X letak harga. hahahhahahaha...

Kat sini jugak we all jumpak kedai CH &CH (Chocolate & Churros) The Spanish love to dunk their churros in chocolate and eat this as a breakfast or something to eat between meals. There are many palaces kat MAdrid where one can try this tasty treat. So time to try...yippa yippa yeay.... Mmg superb lah... rugi kalau tak makan ni kalau pi Madrid hokay.

Nak jadi cita susu anak habis sampai di Madrid. Jumpa Tesco masuk susu tepung tadak so tya cashier tu aiyarkkk no english speaking dah jadi itik ngan beruang kat dalam tu. Tapi the best part pasal Spainish ni orang dia sgt baik dia kuarkan dictionary English - Spain. Baik kan??? Misi mencari souvenirs untuk the family members. There was a shopping complex called Ingles de Corte di sini macam2 ada designer boutiqes and so on.... Kat sini jugak lah kami beli susu anak. Thanks to Makcik Cashier Tesco yang tunjuk jalan. Well peeps personally mummy rasa Zara kat sini murah or ada sale? Ntah dah lupa sbb dah omost a month baru nak update blog kan. Sebelum hilang ingatan terus OK la dari tak de ye. Dah penat balik la hotel from Sol Station to Barajas Station. Malam pelahap Maggi ngan Brahim's instant kampung fried rice je lah.

The next morning we took a train to Santiago Bernabeu stadium tour. Masuk ni kena 19 sorang. The tour was super duper awesome. We even get to see the changing room yang ada jacuzzi but the shower room is doorless... Errkkk...OK bye... The tour route includes the dugouts, presidential box, press room, changing room, changing rooms, players tunnel and the gallery where the trophy room is at.

From here we took the hop on hop off bus to the other attraction places in Madrid. Our next stop was Puerta de Alcala. Nampak mcm Arc de Triomphe kat Paris tu lah mmg cantik and and the best part was, Madrid was sunny! Its still winter through, tapi boleh la nak redah jalan2 when the sunny is out. Memang heaven dapat dok bawah matahari sbb bila ada angin perghhhhhh sejuk mcm peti aih daging oiiiiiii!!!!

Just crossed the gate dah jumpa Buen Retiro Park. Well peeps kat Retiro Park ni mmg sangat2 cantik awesome semua lah. X caya tgk bawah. Kat Retiro park ni boleh naik boat eh sampan kut. Disebabkan anak mummy lena maka niat terbantut diganti dengan having a cappucino at the cafe nearby. Jumpa itik berenang dalam tasik tu jumpa tupai atas pokok.... Owh so calm...

Habis tawaf sini we repeated our tour to Gran Via. Serang lagi apa yang patut. Had our late lunch at Cafe n Te. Trying out the seafood paella (read: pa-ya) lebih kurang mcm nasi goreng masak dalam hot plate. Rasa mcm buh cheese pun ada ntah la but the taste was not bad. Our last stop was Hard Rock Cafe Madrid. Tempat wajib pi la kiranya. Keluar from Harox it was raining wahhhh mampos beku.... tapi matahari terpacak... So sempat la amik pic depan Harox but unfortunately pic tu terover flash ka apa ka tatau jadi bright gila. X sempat nak amik lain bus datang. Terus kelam kabut amik bus went to the next stop yang ada train station some where nearby the stadium. We took a train balik hotel. 

Seafood paella (nasi goreng versi Madrid) 

We had our dinner in the hotel and slept early. esok pagi nak p Paris plak. Kalau ada anyone asked if I am ever going to revisit Madrid again... I'd say definitely ;) Mmg terbaek lah Madrid.
